this game dead?

until ladder yes.

I lost faith in D2 this ladder, too much ruckus with d2r and all the different platforms, also dividing the player base too much.

Are ppl playing legacy?

I started, but quit after a few weeks. Don't think there's much activity, sadly. Blizzard killed their own franchise.

D2r is kinda fun.

Don't want to support blizzard in that effort.

One time $40 purchase to follow the gen pop of a game I have enjoyed for 22 years. Then d1 for years before?
I spend 40/day stupider then that.

D2r is all kinds of ugly.
Make a lvl 30 dueler on legacy.. best pvp around.

It's not good enough. The original is good enough. They should have focused on that. I would pay 1$ a month to keep it bot free and semi regular updates.
