What are the best items for the paladin smitter uber?

Best gear would be
G face
Highlords
Hoz / exile in elite base / spirit for the fhr, funnily enough, the shield pretty much doesn't make a difference
Treachery for prebuffing and COH (enigma is also cool for the teleport, definitely have one to get to the miniubers)
Grief PB
Dracs
Raven + wisp projector
T gods
Gore's

Realistically, there's no need to have this equipment though.the following is sufficient:
G face
Highlords
Hoz
Black
Smoke (treachery for prebuff)
Dracs
Raven
Tgods
Gore's

If you feel like you're struggling with meph, consider the sword or scourge with light absorb, can't think of the names right now

The only thing which matters on Gores besides OW (already covered by dracs) is CB and GToes have more of it. So to write 'Best Gear' and include Gores is wrong by definition.

You said string of ears, so it's the kettle calling the pot black imo

Don't upgrade zaka if you are using grief, cause the str req gets too high for little increased damage output.

Thungergod as a belt is good, but you need to somehow max your res.
Honestly, if you go for forti+grief you have enough damage to just go 4xumed pala shield. It's easy to get these above 120 allres. With a mara you should be at maxres in hell (85 light). You could now get conviction aura to level 21 (after +skill calculation) and use cheap +life charms for your inventory.
If you want better survivability, go for exile and get a lot of + allres charms


edit: lvl 21 conviction aura negates meph's aura, which means you save up on getting 125 res

But first of all I never claimed it to be the best option. Second it is indeed the best defensive option in UT.
