Just use crescent moon phase blade or bezerker axe for more range
Both bases can be made finding a crude/damaged low quality version
Cracked phase blade + eld rune + chipped gem = item level 1 phase blade = max 3 sockets then toss that in cube + pamethyst + amn + ral for 66% chAnce at 3os phase or 100% at larzuk
Charge 2 Phoenix strike is huge aoe lightning that hits twice
Phoenix strike doesn’t need a claw

you can use crescent moon even without it being on a claw though.

Crescent Moon is just a worse crushing blow that doesn't even affect light immunes.

You could just, you know, make a light sorc, that can hold a Crescent Moon and use Static on command? Best part is that it also has teleport, which automatically makes it the best character on its own!

Every char has teleport.

If you need me to explain the semantics, you need to read more books.
