That it might be interesting.
I plan to experiment with warcry, nova, frost nova.
I know those will probably remain hipster builds, but who knows...

I tested a few pvm builds with hero Editor, skel mages are still shit, strafe and cold&fire hybrid ama got stronger but still dont feel good. Warcry is doing pretty well at 1 Player now.
Foh is the one that got really viable at pvm, but of Course cant Match a hammerdins power

Frost nova qnd nova could become viable if their upper damage limit can engage monster fhr
Right now it takes me about 20 novas for kill q hell cow on p1, so not really practical, and that's with a 5 nova staff

I really love what they did for elemental bowa though. It sounds like exploding will be worth investing in and we can skip immolation now for the hybrids

Also wondering if the update to thorns made iron golem more viable damage in hell

And I cant wait for the orb hydra sorcy to be back. I'm so damn tired of orb firewall, hydra is much more fun play but the current cast delay is dumpster fire city.

I'm disappointed multi shot didnt get any love like the damage cap removed at the very least...

I believe the 3 piece iratha will make vonhizzle a proud 100% piercing zon daddy as well

Sounds disapointing indeed, can you confirm you got those results on the PTR?

Only thing I cared to test was bowazon. The reduction in cost and increase in dmg made the hybrid cold/fire better. I only tested on lod since i dont have a hero editor.

Messed with various builds but ended up liking hybrid frozen arrow/exploding arrow best.

Rockfleece outperformed on all of my builds. I basically couldn't live w/o it. I never was able to find a goblin tow to test that out though. It meant that i could still kill cold/fire immunes.

Still TERRIBLE compared to other classes but i was able to full clear river through chaos and Diablo in like 20 minutes p1 without dying (its a bowazon) and only going to town once for mana before big D and that was without any mana leech at all. I imagine it performs much better in classic (again still bad) with the lower alvls and increased chance to hit.

But I hate strafe and it didnt seem to be much improved because phys dmg just isnt enough. Thats just my opinion on it though.

Ah...
So we'll see how the nova skills perform after the buffs then.

I didnt see any buff to rock fleece, did they update that and some other uniques?
I only saw the minor set enhancements which I felt were too conservative
