Lets talk about how much players are there for D2 LOD and D2R

I am not speaking for anyone else when I share that after my experiences with D2R, the legacy games are the only games which I'll be playing 'til Microsoft shuts down the ol' servers.

d2 vanilla players come to d2 resurrected forums, while d2r players don't care about d2 vanilla anymore. else you and others wouldn't come here and vote

You think they will close the old servers ? i'm not really sure because I see that there are a lot of players still playing D2 Lod

I agree I'm still playing D2 LOD due to my computer configurations issues

i know that problem. a d2 friend of my group we know for years now couldn't play d2r, because his computer was too bad. we put some money together (i paid 300€) in order for him to play. many people have the problem. you're not alone. i assume that's one of the two reasons (2nd reasons is the wealth in d2 vanilla) why they stay in d2 vanilla. that's unfortunate

Yes so bad... I'm in the same situation. I paid the game, and I installed the game the first day of lauch. I realise that I couldn't lauch the game...

i know it sounds retarded and it is obvious. but save some money. the onboard graphic cards improve a lot in the meantime and the chip shortage will make gpu's cheaper within the next 12 months (assumptions, but factories are being build all over the world) as well. the options to get a proper pc for a lower price than today will be better in a year.

D2R is what i thought D2LOD looked like
