how do i calculate the dr from forti with my dr (%) from other items?

i got 43% dr and with my forti i got 50 dr?

or is it not calculated like that?

Integer DR is completely seperate.

%+%=your %
Integer + integer = your integer DR amount, which lowers the physical damage you take by that specific amount.

The % cap is 50%

Integer caps at infinity iirc. But is generally not worth your way to get on anything but ES sorc. But integer DR is effective in lowering mind blast damage because of its low damage.

He is probably D3 players who have found D2 when ” remaster ”came out.

In D3 1% Dr + 1% Dr is 1,5% Dr, not 2% Dr.

Like if you have 50% Dr Amor and 50% Dr belt it gives 75% Dr at D3, if you add another 50% Dr item it’s something like 12,5% more DR.

Math = 50% + 50% + 50% = 87,5% DR, not 150%.

You can stack DR% for PvM iirc if you get Amped example or so, not 100% sure.

But pls don’t ask us to calculate math behind amph vs dr% last time was epic

Percentage is taken as a percent of the whole amount of damage

Regular DR is taken off the incoming damage as a number value.

If I am correct regular DR is not that great compared to % DR

Depends on if one takes big chunks of damage or many small instances.

Yes you can, you can stack as much as you want, you can also do it in pvp if someone is casting amp.

And as a side note that not many people know, even if DR% is capped at 50%, more than 50% reduce the damage from CB, if you have 100% DR you became immune to CB.
