You will not find anything with four sockets in Normal.

Someone told me to farm norm cow for 4os cs/shield for spirit, i guess he was wrong

Broad swords above level 25 (26+) will get 4 sockets from larzuk. And above level 40 (41+). Crystal swords are between the 26-40 level range, will get 4 sockets from larzuk.

Normal cows have level 28, so both those swords will get 4 sockets from larzuk.

In normal, monsterlevel = item level. In nightmare and hell, Arealevel = Itemlevel.

A normal crystal sword that drops off a normal cow can be socket quested for 4 sockets. They do not drop as 4 sockets though.

No, they can't drop with 4 sockets.
Items which drop with sockets already are limited to max 3, no matter the item or ilvl.
White items can, however, get more than 3 sockets with Larzuk if ilvl and item itself allows them.

I think they also in that item lvl can max roll 4 soc via cube formula. So the chance of rolling 4 sox is high.
I dno the math behind that, but since 5 and 6 sox cannot roll its 25% chance to roll 4 soc.
But since ID lvl is that of what it is from normal cows there still becomes higher chance to roll 4 soc. I dno how it works xD
