Does the fire mastery skill has double effect if enchanted to myself as sorc?

fire mastery improves enchant dmg but i've just realized that almost doubles my fire damage as stated in enchant (fire mastery is roughly 100%, so this could match).

If this is true, is there a fire enchant bowa sorc build? with enchanted faith or something?

sure there's a build you can make with enchant and widowmaker, but you have to ask yourself if it's worth it. no. it is not. is it fun though? no. it is not.

this game is coming up on 20 years, there isn't anything someone hasn't tried. the builds and items people use are what they are because they're the best and most effective/efficient.

you're probably right, but isn't it kind of boring to see same builds everywhere?

and couldn't it be that a totally other built can be more effective vs current used ones? not better itself, more counter-wise.

Probably gonna do a ench sorc with faith merc and widowmaker.. sounds kind of fun and unexpecting in duells ^^ also rather cheap build

Yes it is boring to see the same builds everywhere. Just build up something you like dude. The good thing is, since this game is 20 years old, items are cheap to afford

Relying on and using merc in duels is counter-wise smart thing to do

well i dont rely on merc only. fana aura is nice but not mandatory.

Still a fun build and never saw this till today.

Make a pvp summon necro that uses Beast with a Might aura merc

Seen plenty of enched widow sorc builds and they can do quite ok for a noncutter build. To make a viable one though they don't come cheap.

fire mastery improves ench on yourself as well as on your allies.
same thing applies to % fire dmg that you get from items like rbfs - they do increase your ench dmg too.

Fire mastery can actually boost your enchant dmg threefold, it increases your chant damage for every skill lvl like a synergy, it increases your fire damage a second time when you cast it on yourself and a third time if you'd perform a melee attack.
