whats the bots situation here?

They compete to see who can sell the most first and 2nd week of reset, then they compete with self found traders.

So ya, still non stop bots, and ofc the posts from people crying about them while simultaneously enjoying the benefits of cheaper runes and items to find an item that has no value so they can complain about it.

It’s the circle of life.

Bots are good for the game. Keeps prices in $/fg low. But items value in relation to each other remain constant.

And are also the thing that keeps the servers still up. As banning bots and the bots rebuying new keys is their revenue stream.

imagine how fun this game would be without bots, thats why i only play about the first week of each reset

Bots are rampant through D2R. Most public chaos games I see are currently ran by bots. Contrary to what the botters on this website say, they are not good for the game. There was only 1 ladder I can remember where they banned bots, and that was the best, most fun ladder I have ever played. It was the reset in December 2017. As you can see by the below screenshot, 2 months into ladder I was able to sell a 2 bo cta for 350, a maras for 625, and 2 sojs for 1800. Everyone was on an even playing field and you could compete with the jsp elites if you put in the time. Now there is no competing against the elite jsp botters as they may have 100 bots going, making anything you find worthless unless you are lucky enough to come across something like a 32020.

Bots are great. They keep the game alive with chaos or baal games always up and prices for end game more affordable for the casual players. The only people that hate them are the players that care about thier fg more than the actual game
