But has anyone in D2's 20 year history beaten the entire game (hardcore, hell difficulty baal) without picking up any items? Sounds impossible with a single char, but maybe a chance with a larger party. If it's been done before send me a link so I can see what chars/skills they used.
Thinking:
- BO Barb
- Salvation Pally , at lvl 21 (maxed skill + Battle command with no gear is +109% fire/light/cold, with 2x malahs after NM thats +129 all res), or 3 pallys for resist lightning / resist fire / resist cold
- Conviction Pally (break immunities)
- Enchantress sorc so summons can do some dmg
- Possibly another sorc to max static field which gets an impressive range and can put entire rooms down to like 1/10th life which sets up for some corpse-explosion smackdown.
- Summon necro for the meat shields, (lower res + convict to break most immunities), and amp + summons for physical dmg. Maybe get creative with other abilities like confuse or attract to turn enemies against each other to minimize the impact of no gear
Trying to figure out what the bottlenecks would be (gloams would be scary, diablo might be tough), how far could you get before dying. The challenge and the idea of a bunch of naked psychos rampaging their way thru the realm before bursting into baals throne room and killing him with their fists is too much for me to ignore.
realistically cant imagine finding anyone dumb enuff to try this with me, but I'd like to hear any ideas on must have chars/abilities or where to expect to definitely die.
