Are there any rings that I should be looking for to replace the bk? I know i will still need to have mana pots as a solution, but i want to cut down on the mana loss.

What affixes should I look for?

Soj spirit helps. I used to rock insight tbh instead of infinity. Sunder helps a lot

should also have cbf somewhere...?

I always recommend going 99 fcr on Java in sc since tele speed bottlenecks your clearspeed more than lack of damage. For mana try to get maek and some mana leech over getting a huge mana pool.

If you like to play at a slower pace with more damage go this build:
Spirit shield
Griffs with 15 ias 3 maek jewel
Razortail
3 java 10 fcr amulet (or 2 skill, 10 fcr + maek)
Soj
Raven frost
You’ll still hit 68 fcr and have more damage with Razortail and a bigger mana pool

In both of these builds you could also get 2/20 gloves with maek and/or mana leech on them instead of 3/20 gloves for better mana sustain

Yes just get rare ring with % Mana steal per hit
also there are dual steal,
% Mana steal % Life steal together combo
another good add is life on it, would be probably +Life to your char. mana or maek not so important, % Ml is what you search for.

I’ve tried a different setups and the one with the most QoL I’m playing with is 35ias, 68/99fcr and phoenix on main. It’s fun to theorize about all kinds of builds eith the rare javs, jmods and mana steal but they’re not as smooth. The mana steal and adding physical damage does work, it’s just not optimal.

In d2r they buffed the java dmg, it’s totally fine to play with 35ias in the end game. Try it. It’s much more important to put the resource for QoL in fcr and mana regen. No need to carry pots.

Good comfort of play but lacking clear speed. Great for chill play

Having a rare mana leech ring is plenty to never need additional mana. I also use up’d moser with 2x -5 light facets. I like the res and not having to spend points on str to hold mon. Clear speed is never a problem because I use fort, so other input for tele builds looks good.
