It's not on sale, yet. And is more expensive to buy on steam than through Anet's site. :unsure:
Should bring in more players anyways, despite a lot of community backlash over the last major class balance patch. :unsure:

I've read that it is possible to play through steam using your ArenaNet account.
Library > Right-click on Guild Wars 2 > Properties > Launch Options > Add: -provider Portal

Also be aware, DLC you purchase on the Steam Page will not come into effect on your ArenaNet account! They are separate. (As of this post, unsure if this will ever change.)
