I have Guild Wars the core game (without any expansions). How much is 1,000 in game gold worth in fg if I were to buy? And how much would a good bow for a Poison Ranger run me?

You can get a perfect greenbow for less than 5k.

For your gwg question, it's best to look for some deals yourself.
Ratio's differ from 1k:0,5fg to 1k:2fg.
Avarage rate is about 1k : 1,5fg
