alright don't get me wrong, i like gw2 a lot, but it just doesn't compare to the original gw. i think most would agree on that. the two are very, very different games.

here's the way i look at it; i've played a lot of MMOs and shit since gw died down, and gw2 beats the pants off of all of them. i think right now it's the best game of it's genre out there.

i 100% completely and totally disagree with you on the game being ugly though, this game's fuckin' gorgeous inside and out. how can you even think that if you're playing with high graphics on?

i'm curious, how much of a chance have you given this game? or more specifically, how much of a chance have you given PvP?

i strongly suggest u try another character type than charr since charr area sucks

or just get out of the starting area, that'd be the better answer.

Pre-searing was by far my favourite experience with the original game, it was just utterly breathtaking. Just thinking about it makes me want to go make a Legendary Defender of Ascalon..

GW2 as of now doesn't compare to gw1 for me, i dont like the way they seem to be taking the game
however it is still a great game, I just dont see myself pouring near as much, if even a fraction of what i did with gw2
tbh its a shame noone seems to know how to make games like they used to, or maybe ive changed since then

its a bit of a pain it seems like to get the really good views i have to stare up at the sky cuz so many things are so massive, and no first person so my character's body really gets in the way when I want to look around.

definitely way better looking than gw1, just harder to look at it.

guild wars 2 is better than guild wars 1 in my opinion

10 hours no pvp. can't get to level 80 because I hate the early game... I'm asking if I should invest the time pulling teeth early game for a big payoff late game.
