Arcane is the new go to setup for most. But, many other builds are still viable.

Bleed Arcane w Rivers of Blood
Mage w moonveil would require more even after gear setup. I can give the items but you have to go get the spells and spell slots.
Pure str build chunks down enemies with heavy hits.
