No you don't keep the gear. You started the beta at max level and there's only 1 mission silly

i just dont wanna be max lvl and i want their to be more content :P

i was excited while waiting for this and thought it'd pretty much be fully live on the 28th or whenever it released

Jesus fuck mate it's open beta for a reason. It gives feed back to the Devs for any fixing or issues... It's not a full game, wait like everyone else.
