Age of Empires - The Definitive Edition
It's not just a graphical overhaul, they are also adding new gameplay mechanics, a new and updated multiplayer platform and other stuff.
Pretty hyped for this. AoE was a great game at its time, but unlike it's sequel it aged terribly due it's limitations and completely outdated and simple mechanics. A remake was very much needed. If the gameplay is brought at least to the level of AoE II I will definitely be playing this quite a bit, because I personally prefer the Ancient setting over the Middle Ages. The bad news is that it seems like it's not going to be on Steam, because they want it to put PC players in the same pool as XBOX players (seriously, who buys this kind of game on a console?
).
