Hey I run a GTX 1080
i7 6800k
2x 16gb gskill ram 3200
and ssd evo 850...

when i run skyrim there is this kinda weird lag every 1 seconds interval like a latency... i wonder what causes that i read that it could be Gsync and i tried disabling it... but didnt work.

Anyone had the same issue?

Just because you have a high-end system doesn't mean a game is going to run smoothly. I would make sure all of your other stuff in the background is closed out. If you have any of those garbage programs that "increase "frame rate and shit like razer make sure that is turned off or just uninstall it. You can try messing with certain settings like shadows or water quality and stuff like that and mess around. You can also mess with Nvidia settings in the Nvidia panel and see. I know I optimize mine for performance and I have pretty good frame rate in most games but even sometimes I have some issues. I typically google how to optimize in video settings and go from there but if you use the default for performance it typically does an all right job but yeah Skyrim is not the greatest so you just got a mess around with settings. Another thing is make sure you have a program that can turn your fan speed up and I leave mine at about 90% anytime I'm gaming which can help with temperatures

I have no issues with temperature.

I use no programs that increase frame rate.

i know that whatever engine bethesda uses doesn't like high framerates. so i'd try limiting your fps to 60

Again, these games are really not optimized well and without seeing a video of what you were talking about it's kind a hard to diagnose it so your best bet is just looking up on YouTube. I can promise you you're not the only one having this issue if it is not your actual hardware so. Also, I suggested a lot of other things that you can try so until you do so there's not really much that we can do
