Were combat physics ever fixed? I loved this game but the clunky ass combat ruined it for me and devs didnt seem to care

Combat is still the same as far as I know. I'm god awful at ground fighting but improving through training with my guild

Yeah you can buy gold off people but its kinda expensive. You can buy subs too. But it does take time to fully build your toon and crafting and shit is very in depth. This is not an ex mode game.
Pvp is nice ha. Some people don't like it though because its not easy
