Shatter for shards? Already have 2k+ shards

Heard you need them for LP (legendary potential)

Basically, if you find the ideal exalt base (with like a T6 suffix that you want to use) you keep that and you can reroll the other affixes to be better for your build. also you can take uniques with legendary potential and smash those on to exalts to make a crafted legendary as well I believe.

I haven't reached end game, only level 60 something on my HC shaman

Purple items (exalted) are any rare (yellow item) that has at least one T6 or T7 affix (not craftable).

When you find one with a good affix you want to craft it to have 3 other good affixes (preferrably all T5 for the crafted affixes).

From there you can run the temporal sanctum to infuse an extra affix onto an existing legendary item (this will not remove any of the other affixes).

The affix will be randomly selected of the 4 affixes the exalted item has (you cannot pick which one, and the affix cannot have 3 or 5 affixes [no sealed affixes])

Let's say you have an exalted chest armor with: health, defense, +1 to a skill, and dexterity

If you use it with a 1LP unique chest piece that unique will have all its original stats plus one of those random affixes (it keeps the same values as the original exalted item, hence why you don't want to have a low tier affix it could hit and make your legendary item bad)

2LP will pick a random 2 of the 4 affixes, and so on
