If I don't affect other people then why do you care so much?

The standalone is going to use BI's engine. So it will still be very like Arma. The standalone isn't going to fix everything like everyone seems to think it will.

This game has gotten way better for me only playing on expert servers. It's awesome when you can't just pan around in 3rd person to see what's around a corner. Having to actually look over your shoulder when you're running around.

It seems as if there are a lot less campers, and when you do run into someone you mutually scare the shit out of each other and just micspam "friendlyfriendlyfriendlyohmygodfriendlydontshoot"

I'm sure it will encounter hacks in the beta.

The only reason for 3rd person was enabled in Dayz is because the FoV in first person is around 90°, when FoV of human eye is almost 180°.

question: can looting possibly hacked loot completely fuck up your game?


yesterday was my 4th day playing. i joined a random game, found a helicopter with a box next to it... inside was 20 of every gun and a bunch of other stuff. i looted thinking it was a crashed heli site or something, logged off, came on today and now i cant launch any games. batteye client is not responding or it the game just does not load. i already took action and uninstalled my game and started redownloading, just curious if this has happened to any of you

Have found same box too, but my game still works.

ugh i'm not sure what went wrong then. prior to that i had like 10 hours on my char with ghillie and coyote bag now my profiles gone QQ

naw your client must just be out of date

reinstall battleye, google how to do it.

It will fix a lot of problems with the hacking,and the bugs they are using the Arma 3 engine . But optimizing it for dayz
