No server restarts is impractical. At a certain point (somewhere between 6 and 12 hours), servers fill up their cache and start leaking memory, causing EVERYONE to have massive fps problems. (Somewhere around 1-2 FPS, unplayable). I have experienced this on multiple servers (one of which I knew for a fact hadn't been reset because my team contacted the admin to reset it).
I don't hack, but personally the person I was playing with died to a hacker (the hacker kept teleporting under our huey and shooting us with an as50). He died, me and the pilot picked him up then flew to the huey spawn island and aborted over water so we could hop servers and swim back to the island. We then duped the dead person's gear back...
Sometimes it's essential to play "non-legit" to deal with other nonlegit stuff....
We found the huey, repaired it ourselves with items that we server hopped to find @ the factory. My AS50 was self found, and my M4A1 CCO SD was stolen from a camp, but I have found one before legit. My ghillie was even self found yesterday morning.
And as for the disconnecting with a swarm of zombies, they are in the process of implementing a 5 second timer with the abort mechanism, but the ArmaII base coding is preventing it at this time.
