A good start for the Megalesios marathon

I forgot what crafting recipes i need for the future, so i'll just collect and keep all of them, until i run out of space in the stash. I'm happy to see that the new expansion adds more room, this time in the shared tab, so i have space for a lot of junk. The plan is to once again aim for the divine craft "Talisman of the Jade Emperor", because it's easy to find in legendary, and one of the prerequisite artifacts are also useful to me, more specifically - the Kingslayer, which has a lesser prerequisite that i need to farm from the second second Telkine in Act 2 on normal. It will be a lot of frustration to gather everything. In the first challenge i've posted, i spend around 300 runs on Epic Talos just to get the Kingslayer formula, and i was enraged by the end! Should be fun to do it all over again. :D

This is a nice helm, for the early game at least. Would have been much better to get it earlier. I think it can drop as early as the first major boss, the centaur Nessus, near Sparta. I'm still going to use it. I also tested the Onslaught skill but it's only level 1 and with no synergies (which is pretty useless in that state), so i kept my Batter skill on the left mouse button

I got one Hermès Sandal fragment, and another not long after. Couldn't get the third by the end, so i decide to rely on luck andi hope to get it by chance in Egypt where act 1 relics have lower drop rates. I'll be farming the second Telkine a lot anyway, so i should be able to get it there.

I also get another Storm Eye ring, now i'll be using both because they add some damage, even if it's elemental

And this is why i decided no bother with the last Hermes Sandal fragment for now. I will use this leg armor for a while

Even better, in the next run i get another piece from the set in it's a good one.

Some additional set bonuses, but the attack speed and offensive ability is what i like about it. I guess that was it for the Stonebinder's Cuffs

At this point, i needed just one more Bat Fang fragment to craft my artifact (it dropped a run or two later)

Okay... this is new. I guess this leads to one of these "hardcore dungeons" i've been reading about. The door to this one is apparently in Act 1, near Delphi, but i don't think i'm ready to go there, i might have to complete normal difficulty first, before i gather the courage. I will also research how challenging it is, and if it's worth risking my character for it

Let's craft the bad boy

Nice, i have a system for getting the attack speed completion bonus, and that is by using a Valor of Achilles relic with the same completion bonus for the craft. You get the bonus on the relic by adding the fragments one by one on a weapon and then, once it's complete, you take the relic out at the enchanter. I'm not sure if the system works 100% of the time, but i often complete this particular artifact with the attack speed bonus by doing this.

The DPS jumps from 129 to 245, easily the best lesser artifact you can get for melee, bow and arrow, or throwing weapons build

Enough of Act 1, i've spent close to 11 hours on it already. Let's see what Egypt has to offer... i'm not going to waste too much time there and will rush straight to the second Telkine for the next serious farming session

The Desert King stands no chance against the Colossus Form

What the hell is that? A new enemy? And seems to be quite unique by the fact that it takes 5 minutes to kill. It has an ability that makes it immortal for a duration in which it reflects damage (thankfully a small amount of damage).

It also drops a new type of charm fragment. I wonder what bonuses it gets for completion, and if it's part of some crafting recipe?

I decided to farm the Nile's Farmer's Quest for some gold. Got a new armor from it as well. I stayed here until i reached about 2 million gold

Even better with completed Mechanical Parts

I think i'll keep my current shield. The two are similar, but mine has movement speed, which i prefer

I haven't had a good look finding amulets thus far. I'll buy this so i can finally drop the garbage i've been wearing since Nessus

I get the Cartouche ring as a reward from the main quest line... and later i got another one from the lost brother side quest. If i was a caster, two of these would have been great at this stage of the game, but of course i'll never get them this easily if i was a caster.

And these guys are no threat to the Defender

This will be my new weapon... so unlucky that it rolled the bronze and not the iron base. I thought it will raise my DPS by a few points, but once i swaped the Achilles relic from my old weapon the DPS went from 287 to 340!
