I've been waiting to come here, so i can finally wear some northern outfits...



At least now i have pants and war paint... if only i can find a better hallowed helmet, so i can throw away that clown looking one

Here's the thing about Act 5 - I love the atmosphere and the locations, but i f'n hate the monsters! Every enemy here is designed to annoy the crap out of the players. At least there's another positive - the LOOT! With a bit of luck here, i can quip myself well for epic difficulty

Here come the first awful group of enemies - trolls. They use mostly throwing weapons with bleeding damage and make annoying sounds non-stop



Now this is why i'm excited about the loot of this act. It's not guaranteed to always get great items at random, but from time to time something cool will drop



I don't need the resistances right now, and i can't really replace my hallowed helm, so i'll keep it as a rotation helm for epic difficulty where i'll get -40% penalty to all primary resistances, except physical

And it's raining for the first time... the first 4 acts didn't have that



Killing the Troll King

This thing looks strong on paper, but the attack speed worries me. I'll keep it and try it out when i reach the level. The problem with slow epic and legendary weapons is that you need other ways to improve their attack speed, like having speed on your armor slots, because epics and legendary cannot be upgraded with charms, making them very dependent on your entire gear set up. Rares and MI's give you more freedom because they can receive an enormous attack speed boost by relics. For example, a completed legendary version of Valor of Achiles (with speed completion bonus) grants an insane 53% to attack speed, making it easy to max the speed of average axes, or even slow heavy maces with huge raw damage.

10 Another enemy type i really hate - Nixies. They're fast, move a lot and are just annoying to chase. They're not hard to kill here, but on later difficulty, they will be. High cold resistances is needed, or they become very dangerous in large numbers



Investigating this body in Rhine Cave and returning to Corinth to turn the quest rewards with a completed Lesser artifact, lets see what i'll get



Unbelievable.... another Shroud. So even if couldn't find the formula, the game would have covered my ass here

...but artifacts received from this quest don't have completion bonuses, so this one is utter garbage compared to mine



Level 40 - 3 points in Disable

Oh no, not the BEES! How do you fight bees with a sword anyway? That's something only true heroes can master



Sprigans and Sprigglings give a lot of experience. This area here is swarmed by them and it's a great place to gain levels if needed, but i'm not going to be wasting time here

There's a friendly Nixie in the Wild Heathlands, escorting her to her pond rewards with 1 skill point - invested it in Disable (maxed now)



Damn you Nixies, leave me alone!



Another level 41 weapon with questionable speed. I'll try that one as well next level
