Hello, im pretty new to this game, i've been playing berserker and outlander, and im happy with the berserker ravage build.

But with my outlander, i've been struggling to find an likeable build. I am building shield, pistol and str.
I've been trying some sort of poison build with chaos burst and venomous hail, but i wasn't very impressed and i also had some mana issues ( Not sure if chaos burst maybe gets alot more effective on the last tier?)

What should i go for to solve my mana probs? Regen, Hit or steal? and do you have any hc builds to recommend me?
I have tried glavies and i didnt like it.

I've been thinking about the skill ''Sandstorm''. It says physical damage so it should scale with str, right? And would that skill work for clearing both trash and bosses quickly?
And how would i solve mana problems? what mana source is best for that skill? `

Apart from my questions any tips on outlander is greatly appreciated.

Also! What is the best place to farm items, gold and exp etc.? Maps / World rerolling? Does difficulty, Elite etc matter for items, gold, exp?

Thanks alot for replies!

Try a Focuslander.

Dual Wands

4/1 Focus/Dex

Cursed Daggers (Right click)
Long Range Mastery
Glaive Throw (Alt)
Glaive Sweep (Left click)
Dodge Mastery
Share the Wealth
Master of the Elements
Repulsion Hex

As for Farming, NG+ Maps, yes higher +s effect drops but hardly anyone plays on higher than NG+ so it will be somewhat desolate if you decide to go higher. Could always make a dedicated farmer for higher +.

HC, Redo areas multiple times before moving on, make sure you are 3-4 lvls op for each area and bring lots of potions, try to avoid groups of mobs, let your pet atk first to take attention off the char, make sure your gear is always up to date, make sure pets gear is always up to date. Don't rush. Using ranged atks is always a good idea also if you have them. I haven't spent much time on HC so you would prob get more/better information from someone else but those are some basics that should help.

Ty for reply man.

This build is exactly what i dont want tho. Im going shield + str as outlander, i guess i'll have to experiment some more.
I dont understand, higher +s? Do you mean that the drops are different from casual to elite? it would make sence.

Oh and yeah ill try to not rush.. i have played 1 week now and ripped quite abit of chars due to rushing :D finished ng +1 at 68 on my berserker :D

Casual to Elite, No there is no difference other than the strength of mobs. After you beat the game there is a "New Game Plus" called NG+, you start the game over with you current character, all stats/items/gear still fully intact but the mobs are stronger like a higher difficulty and in that you do get more exp and gold and better items. Every time you beat the game it unlocks another NG+ mode up to NG+++++, each time the mobs gets stronger, you get more exp, more gold, better items. Certain items and equipment can only be obtained in higher NG+ modes. The problem with it is you can only play with other players who are in the same NG+ mode that you are, it isn't freely changable like Casual>Elite.

I assume that the game is mostly crowded at the last NG? im at ng ++ now and i dont see any games up, but maybe noone plays hc.

Possibly but i know alot of people stay on NG+. Probably be mostly dedicated map farmers.
