Hello i just got torchlight 2, while waiting for diablo 3 to get better.

Im playing Engineer on hardcore, elite difficulty.

I was wondering does it benefit me playing on the toughest difficulty? Do i get more drops, experience etc?

Anyone got some other tips like how i should play my engineer on hc? I like to use guns, blast cannon and healing bot.
And how do i know what places i can enter without dying, like bosses etc.. on some boss i was fighting for like 10 minutes and had to kite alot.. but it worked out in the end.

Where to distribute my stat points? Which skills are the best for hc? What armors and weapons should i look for etc. any help will be greatly appreciated. i might even donate some fg

Well first thing you should know is that vit does not scale worth a damn, and how skills scale off str or focus, if a skill does any % of weapon damage it scales off physical damage and str, and any magic damage will scale off focus, same with weapons if you are using a skill with % weapon damage it would be better to use a weapon with no elemental damage modifiers, same if you use a skill that's just a flat damage of any kind(so long as it doesn't have that % weapon damage) you would want to stack focus and find a good elemental weapon, aside from that if you're engineer forcefield is your friend
