I just recently started back on Torchlight 2 and was wondering what the deal with playing with mods is..

I downloaded a class/pet pack, but I was wondering if I can use this on multiplayer or not, or if people have to have the same mods, or if you can only LAN/Single player.

you can play online. others that want to play with you have to have exactly same mods (with same mod vers. too) in order to play with you.

saves you have used mods with cannot be played with others that have no mods / different mods.

eg. you cant play with someone that hosts a vanilla game or a game with new races.
