I played the beta a while ago; however, I've heard some bad things about duping and the game's economy. It's only $20, but I don't drop any amount of money or time

I think torchlight 2 is an amazing game, and to be honest with you, I feel that this is what Diablo 3 should have been like, If you love Diablo 2, you're really going to enjoy this game!

It also has a lot of common features with Diablo 2:
Skilltree with 3 roots
4 Stats
Act bosses and minibosses
Waypoints

You know, the Diablo 2 stuff.. Only with upped features and graphics

I got it for $10, and I'd have paid $20.

It's fun, it's easy, or medium, or hard, or insanely hard. The economy is small, but gear (in fg) is very inexpensive. There are a decent number of players to play with, but it's also fun alone.

9.2/10 imo.

Check for steam sales, i paid 9 bucks for it.
The gameplay is really great, and the items that are cheated / duped are marked as cheated items, and so are also the players who use the console.

Yes, If you loved Diablo 2, and were extremely disapointed in Diablo III you will enjoy this game.

Another thing, if you decide to get it... Go normal or hard... Started a character on easy just to check out the class, and it's seriously boring easy.
