I want to know if there is really a trade community on this game. I read that you can spawn any item through a console... If that is the case then why would people trade items vs fg.
When spawning items, do they have a "Hacked tag" or something to say they are not legit? And when using the console your character becomes "suspicious" but if you copy save files (is there other methods?) can you put the duped items to use?

Also, if the spawned items are not tagged then anyone with two characters could spawn items with a mule or crap char and put them in the shared stash for their supposed legit main char.
I want to know everything about this because if trading is null then there is no point for me to play this game for days trying to find top items. I am a hardcore player and I would like it if none of this console crap existed...

d3 is a great alternitive

Played D2 for about 10 years as well (d2lod softie and hc) and i known D3 would be a fail. Didnt spend any money on it and im glad of it. As for Tl2 community, so far as long as theres no closed realm servers its possible to trade for duped items,right and it seems easy to do by looking at what other peoples said about it, console spawned items will have a big CHEATED ITEM written on them, in red. Some also pretend that you can remove the red (!) that appear beside players who used mods / console commands, cant say if its true or not because i didnt tried it yet and have no plans to do it.

You have to trust people words when they say they dont dupe / use console, thats how we work here. Most regular i met here ( forum and ingame ) are legit players.

Oh and i forgot to add... on runicgames tl2 forum theres a topic where you can see vanilla players, hang on with them you will be sure you wont get duped items and play in good company =)

And yes players can remove the tag but they can also simply make new untagged items easily without the console.

Yeah i heard about this as well...i just dont do it =)
