Oh,yes am new to modding...in some way i like it..in others im against..depend on how far these mods change the game. Having a pet netherlord that spawn minions...to me its too much..considering how strong he is.
This game is made to mod, quite afew games are released like this so modders can do what they like to it without any repercussions to the developer.
You only have to look at the mod page on the main forums or check out steam to see what has been made by the small mod community for this game, mods range from gold drops to legendary weapons and extra stash space, you have mods that change buff timers so you dont have to press a button every 30 seconds, reworking of main skills so they become more inline with the op (most used) skills, modders are working on the 1 shot and you are dead abilitys of monsters, these are just some of the projects, imagine what will be once the main tools are released by Runic to mod their game.
There is a price to pay for all the mods though, that is compatability and fair play. Runic needs to have some closed servers for those that would like to play tl2 in vanilla mode (they could do ladders like in d2), also the hardcore community wouldnt be such a joke with people reloading files when they get killed.
Anyway tl2 has been a gem for me, i have really enjoyed playing it and for the price it is great value.
