If you are dual wielding with say 100% chance to execute, does your attack speed get based solely off the weapon in one of your hands, or does it average the two, or how does that work?

There was a topic on the Runic games forum on this. I'ts a bit complicated.

If you have lower than 100% execute chance, each execute procs from first your main hand weapon and then your off hand weapon. It switches.

If you have exactly 100% execute chance, some say it's completely random, but newer tests is showing that they proc from your main hand weapon.

This is the thread: http://forums.runicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=43276

Try having a very slow weapon in one hand and a very fast in the other, and then compare with 100% execute chance to be sure. I havent tested it myself.
