I just played through on Normal... Depends on how hard you want it to be, honestly... There isn't any difference in difficulties, besides the obvious.

Class? Surprisingly, they all seem very balanced. I've heard from so many people "ZERKERS OP, EMBERMAGES OP, OUTLANDER OP, ENGI OP"


That tells me it's balanced, so.

It tells me they need to play on a harder difficulty :P

All classes are OP on the first run through, even in Elite.

The problem comes where NG+ is concerned, especially NG+++.
In those situations... One class stands above them all.... the Engineer.



In other words... Engineer is the strongest class.

Depends on your play style

I love my Embermage. Get to kite groups then rape with Prismatic Bolt.

this could be an endless rant, but its opinion. my 93 zerker does 3X the damage as my 100 engineer...and can also take ALOT more damage from bosses etc than the engineer, this could be build issues or gem \ chants, but for ME...my zerker is top choice.

i cant wait to make a super tanky embermage ~_~ either way Ive yet to see end game, or even pass act2, since I play HC, die alot on elite, and have a nagging girlfriend the second I open the game Q_Q

just from the skills/what Ive read, Id assume engineer can be built to be godmode, but i cant argue with you.

who knows maybe embermage = #1 tank too!!!

I think I"ll play Engineer on Normal offline, get a hang of things first. :)
