Hello Everyone!

I am a virgin to the section and to torchlight in general.

I am making this poll because I am shocked that a game like this is already hacked 100%. I guess I'm not totally shocked, but just bummed out.

I have only played the game for 2 days now and have read enough to admit I am addicted. Far from the way D3 felt...

Unfortunately I am already reading you can spawn Infinite Gold and Best Items.




Come on guys!! We all loved D2 because of the grind and achieving a goal. Not spawning the best shit and having nothing to do.

Anyways I see a lot of re-rolling until they allow 100% respect without modding and a ton of play time on getting the best items.

I want to find out if there is any forums on Runic's website that are requesting a closed server for people who like to play a game legit like my self.


I am also starting this poll to maybe help support the idea. If there isn't a current thread on Runic that anyone knows about I want to make one and have everyone supporting here on this forum to support it over there.


If everyone actually takes the time to complain the way everyone did with D3 ,CHANGES CAN BE MADE!

I don't mind that people can mod their games, I just want them to be separate from myself and those who don't wish to cheat.

Do you know if there is anyone posting about this on their site?

I havenot been to their site or forums other than to buy the game.

you know before you post things like this you really should go to torchlight 2 forum's....they have NO intention on making a ladder or closed Bnet style of play.

Just play with people you know/trust.

They hve countless threads on runic forums. Runic even said it wont happen.

online play for non-cheaters
online for cheaters
and single player for who gives a fuck

It`s a 20 dollar game where they are testing the waters to see what to do for the 60 dollar game. Wait for torchlight 3.

What are mods going to do? allow them to gather even more information on what the current gamer population wants.

Torchlight 3 will be your closed server no hacks game.. wait for it.

True that. But worth a shot. I hope if this is waht they are aiming for, TL3 next winter then would be ideal b4 people say fuck it
