Anyone know a good site with really good information about this game?

I didn't play TL2 and I would really like to understand the mechanics a lot more before maxing out a character and having it built wrong.

Just really trying to get a feel of the elements and statistics in game.

Example I feel like my glaives are getting damage from my stre but I see people say its focus because its pois damage. but yet they have been doing more and more damage as I put in stre?

You can also have a look at PC Gamer. While they don't have an information resource per se, they do feature three guides about the Embermage, Engineer, and the Berserker. You can use these guides as a basis for your own deviation, or you can follow them to the letter. Each build has still has its usefulness, but I feel like they are more or less introductory builds to give you an idea of what is good and what is bad with your class. With that being said, there is room for improvment.. Sort of a shame they haven't released an Outlander guide to complete the set. But, here are the available guides:

I went poison damage on my outlander and im stacking focus/dex/ some vit.. Focus helps because it increases magic damage(Fire,Poison,Cold, lightning) by a lot and is the most viable thing to use if your going to go for an elemental based build. Otherwise the only other build i know of for a Outlander is the summoner build which involves the 3rd tree( Know nothing about that one) or the straight dps build which you would just focus on a lot of strength i would think to increase your initial attack. Then use whatever skill's you find to be the most viable for dps.

Ya after reading a lot last night I am trying a certain build to start with. I re-rolled and got to level 20 last night with a couple buddies.


Focusing on :

Maxing Glaive
1 Pt into Poision (This is a test. Becuz if I proc the cloud it gives an aoe 50% dmg off my weapon dmg which will also get benifits from maxing Master of Elements increasing that damage)
Maxing Long Range Mastery
Maxing Akimbo

Stats:
I rushed 99 Dex for a decent base attk dmg and also a level 40 weapon I had.
From that point I did the follow

4 Into Focus
1 Into Vit

Will continue this unless I find some outrageous pistols that need stre.

Goal:

High Focus to Allow:

• High Damage Glaives
• High Chance to Execute

Max Fire Glaives Late Game
1 Into some other skills in the Lore tree for sustain / mobility.


If I am just wrecking stuff in my 50-70's I might just make a guide out of it. We shall See.
