I keep getting an error saying unable to authenticate server when i try to go on internet? Anyone else having a problem?

Check your Firewall to see if it's preventing Torchlight 2 from accessing the Internet.



Well, it was a common error for some and it was to do with the firewalls. Might have been the servers then.

Glad you got it fixed though.

Dunno what the problem was but i got in.. weird would've thought that it would have happened sooner with the fire wall ordeal

it's not like i just got it im lvl 100 so i logged in plenty of times lol

fix for this is to open steam and login at https://secure.runicgames.com/account/keys
and find My Products.
there is a Button Called Check my Steam Account for Games.
Click it.
now click the Button called Check Your Steam Account For Games.
if u get this message Successfully updated your Steam account and games.
then u can go back to Torchlight 2 and login.
