Worth it if I enjoy end game farming for items?

Are there items better than legendaries like D2 rares and whatnot?

Way better. completely destroys D3. Much easier to find decent gear.

Not to mention you can beat the game 5 times. After the first time you beat it you get NG+ second time NG++ etc.

Farming is pretty fun, as there are plenty of ways to go around it, either by rerolling the maps of certain areas or by getting access to Mapworks and using those maps to go through dungeons.

How is multi player?

Is it as retarded to play with others as D3 is?

Well, people can cheat and create items through Console but Runic has disabled this in multiplayer so they're working on it bit by bit. They'll come up flagged as a Cheater though so you know.

Otherwise Multiplayer is pretty fun and addictive if you find the right person/people.

Pretty sure you can type in /pvp and it enables it.

Haven't tried any pvp myself though.

This game is already such a nice breathe of fresh air from D3, even from Boarderlands 2 which is amazing. TL2 has so far exceeded my expectations are far as gameplay and I ADORED the original Torchlight!

Tl2 > borderlands imo. Borderlands 2 is borderlands 1, with more annoying voice acting and the same gameplay. Maybe fun with some friends.
