It seems every character is 1 hit death at one point or another in Elite NG++ and beyond, exluding the Engineer. Is this what everyone is experiencing?

Even my super tanky engi took a 13k hit as i posted on the picture

Well i do take some Major damage once my Force Field is down but i try to keep it up at max charge at all times = Come at me bro;)

Most of the huge damage can be avoided, like smashes or not having enough elemental resists

yeah, you can see a big hit coming you can always get out of the way, embermages can teleport, the zerker can dash, and I am pretty sure the outlander has a dash or something like a vault. I am not sure, my outlander is only like level 7, not really caring for it atm.
