Is it the same every time or if you put in 3 its just random?

gems that have blue font have random stats. 3 gems in cube = 1 magic gem random. sucks 99% of the time.

True, was wondering because i notice a lot of people have the same unique gems..

some bosses drop their eye as a unique gem, so its possible to farm the same thing over and over. im guessing here, but im pretty sure its true.
