I messed around a bit to be able to sync my chars over the cloud and my 2 pc and i made it!
BUT my shared stash is gone : /
Tried to replace my current sharedstash.bin with some old ones i had backup.
Guess what. Didn't worked. All stash were empty.
Will this get me flagged or smth since i changed like 5-6 different .bin ?

no1 knows? : /

I thought steam would sync the characters with the cloud automatically, what did you have to mess around with? I just got torchlight 1 haven't tested it out yet but I am hoping it moves my characters over the cloud.

I thought the same too but I was able to sync my progress from one pc to the other and not the other way around. So i moved the save folder with a usb stick to the other pc. Then my low lvl char vanished (lvl 14). Tried to replace my char files with the ones in usb stick one by one. Then both chars vanished. Got back to the 1st pc and both chars where there. Then somehow both pc synced (got in game with high lvl char and played 3-4 mins and logged out) but my shared stash was empty. Tried to replace it with an other sharedstash.bin i had from somedays ago and didnt work. Then tried the one in usb stick that was supposed to have my sharedstash saved but was empty aswell. Tried 3-4 more stash backups all were empty for a strange reason and gave up.
