Hey, I'm enjoying leveling my embermage, lightning specced, but I'm not sure if I'm doing things right regarding skill choice and stat distribution.

First, how's the stat distribution for this class? I tend to put 3-4 into magic and 1-2 into vit. I have no clue if dex is required for +crit or str is needed to wear some armor types.

Secondly, how to spec? I'm spending several point sin the first lightning skill and the passive that gives you a change to teleport enemies when they hit you. I'm also starting to spend points in the that electric storm ball, whatever it is named.

And finally, should I be spending point in skills from different trees, or most of them go to the same tree as happened in Diablo 2?

Great thing about TL2, Your build is usually never wrong.
You could go full fire, or fire lightning and ice, and have the same damage.
Stats are pretty basic, Str wont be needed, unless you want a melee embermage.
Focus is priority, dex is second, you can always get +hp in gear, so the Vit isnt so important, at least early on.
I would aim for 350 focus by level 100.
