Aside from the obvious things like, mobs get harder and do more damage.

What is the overall point of multiplayer in Torchlight 2. Things like, do we get more exp?, Do items have better drop chances, etc etc.

Any information would be great!

Same as in d2. You don't share mf, it's just more fun playing with friends.

Mobs get harder with multiple players ofc, but if you're good players you will out damage the scale and it will be easier to kill things.
As well as more attacks going out, doing more aoe damage.

Classes have their perks too, Engineers have the heal bot, Berserkers roar, Outlanders can slow with their mark.
