Worth playing over or is it like d3

This game is d3, the spiritual successor to d2.

Please don't compare it to "Diablo 3" which is nothing more than a rip off that stole the name.

EDIT: To answer your question, it's a near perfect game and is only $20. Buy it now.

Don't compare any game to Diablo 3. I haven't played TL2, but there's no way it could be nearly as bad as the train wreck that is D3.

What does D3 have that TL2 doesn't?
- A working economy and an incentive to trade and sell with/to other players

What does TL2 have that D3 doesn't?
- Everything else

Did TL2 copy off D2 and PoE ideas?
- Hell yeah that's what makes it a good game

Does it have replay value?
- Lots. You just need to team up with some friends, that's what makes it enjoyable. That and avoid modding that ruins the game experience for you.
