Hello everyone, I'm new to the Torchlight series as of last night.. Been enjoying the Beserker and hoping to start up this thread as a go to discussion for our builds/ encounters and pvp.

Im currently Level 12, playing veteran and wondering is adding points in focus necessary? What are some of your builds?

My stats are:

815 HP
71 Mana

30 str
35 Dex
5 Focus
25 Life

Eviscerate lvl 5
Blood Hunger lvl 5
Howl lvl 3
Executioner lvl 1
Elemental Overload ( adds +25% of each element to attack for 6sec - 12 sec CD )

-Focus is amazing if you 2 of the same weapons (execute chance and dmg)


and my build is whack yo.

My build is whack too, and I'm level 39 or so. I hope we get a full respec at some point because I would do a lot of things different.

please share your builds and explain what you would do differently. May help prevent me from making the same mistake!

lvl 18 atm wanna run a dualclaw summoner with lightning strike support

I wonder how much points I should put into vit/ str.. I'd like to have high as hell Dex.. but my Armor/ crit % needs to get bumped up there.

my beserker owns...
crit \ dodge stack " Dex "
high Hp on all gear

passive crits give me 10% hp BACK per crit " i crit every single hit."
passive reflects damage based on my wepaon dps.

84 STR
145 Dex
80 focus
90 Vita

night shade and eviserate FTW. you'll never die.and if i use my shield \ claw i never drop under 95% hp even if i face tank a whole boss room full of trash + boss..

Howl , Frost breath both increase damage by a ton..and i also use haste II. its my mini smiter build

im a big fan of savage rush and ravage and just normal attack, with the lighting attk bonus skill.

I can run through almost everything and watch it die from dots. and kill bosses in 2 seconds. I got rest of my points all of passives.

Feels like a whirlwind barb in d3. Im never standing still.

These 2 skills drop the mobs armor to barbly anything and because I use claws I already reduce that by half. I hit for full dmg every hit.

80 focus!?

yes, thats with my gear on of course but even at 80 focus i still cannot use all my cooldowns at the start of a fight without waiting for regen or using a mana pot to zerg...i plan on having the exact amount to use all my cd's in 1 shot which is about 25 more focus. i could go for regen gear but my gear stats are all focused on Crit \ Damage % \ dex

anyways this build works amazing for ME. im only lvl 40 so i have more than enough points to play around with....
