To be honest... I didn't like TL at all and I never understood the hype behind it...

There were so many "D2-Clones", which were ten times better, like TQ and TQ/IT or more recently PoE (to just name a few of them). Between all those -IMO- these are much superior to TL ... At least I'm not going to lay that one at all.

i said that i play path of exile.
and TL was far superior to TQ and TQIT TQ and TQIT were very unpolished and simplistic to me i played them a bit and enjoyed this but TL was much better they had so many great features like the ability to improve any item you find through the imbue process
or the pet feature where you can load your pet with items to sell back in town that you can continue to farm more stuff
just to name a few
i love path of exile but ive been looking forward to TL2 for years the only reason torchlight didnt steal me away form my 10 year D2 addiction was its lack of multiplayer which TL2 will have

Diablo 3 > Hello Kitty Online > TL2 > Path of The Poor

Tastes are different, just throwing in my thoughts. I wont play it and I will stick to D3. Even i its not the game everyone was hoping it to be... It's just the support it has through Blizz, which will make it the only game worth while for me.

All others PoE/TL2/etc etc. are nice for some space to fill, but its the same with every other blizz game, to those I stuck, all the others I played for "a bit" and then returned.

it's a bad time to release TL2 tbh... maybe 3 months after D3 or 3 month b4 D3... definitely not near the lanuching date of D3...

DIdn't like TL at all (well it was fun for 10 hours or so), don't like the grahpics of TL2 at all, maybe I'll still try it tho

I am looking forward to TL2 as well. But there is 2 problems I have with it. One is theres no official PVP, people have to mod it in. The second is that theres no "Closed battle net", its all "open". Your online character is your single player which means you will be able to hex edit things.
They did this because they wanted modding to be open.

same with torchlight that game was modded beyond modded
