I'm not "buying" any gold pal, how do you plan on getting it your main character if when you trade with them they'll become flagged? lol.

I wasn't referring to you personally. Trading with a flagged character doesn't flag you.

I can't believe the negative response this thread has garnered, it's ridiculous. I'm simply trying to inform people that they are being taken advantage off and probably wasting their forum gold. I guess the finger has to be pointed somewhere though.

Runic is on a update to do this so if u got a char with this u are going to get flaged as a cheater

so its really up to u to play the game Legit or Cheat

Duped is right, trading with a flagged player will not get you flagged, also there is really no difference in buying gold via FG or having someone spawn it and give it to you.
Either way you are obtaining gold that you yourself did NOT earn by playing the game.

Also Runic will not ban players for using the console, it's there for a reason, so people can play the game the way they choose too.
The flags are in place to warn people to avoid playing with said person if they want to keep a legit play through

In my opinion Runic should release an update that makes it impossible to trade with a player who is flagged if you yourself are not already flagged, this would clear up the problem with "free gold" and will promote the trade/purchase of legit items instead of spawned items

Runic has already said that this game is completely open to modding. They were not trying to create a stable economy at all which is why they let players spawn gold and items at their own discretion... Being flagged will not get you banned. Whoever thinks that is plain retarded. Why would runic ban accounts or characters for using something that is a part of the game? No outside programs are needed to spawn infinite gold for yourself. The only point in getting flagged is to warn legit players that that other player is not legit and to keep legit players from accidentally trading with or acquiring duped or spawned items.

And as today you can dupe anything without getting flagged through shared stash. So right now there's absolutely nothing in the game that has any value at all, except maby a lvl 100 char which is not flagged (atleast i havent heard that you can get your level up without consol).
