POE is fun but no 1 fucking wants to play a game that will never be released and your characters just get put in some dumbass legacy league over and over.

They are ruining their game just by drawing out the release so long... There losing interest from people that actually like it.

they are not doing any more wipes till open beta actually, and after open beta they will never wipe again. they will just have league events that last for hours/days/weeks/months that will function like ladder and the default realm will function like nonladder and legacy wont exist anymore
tho i agree to a point that it is taking a while but common blizz used to lag forever on games at least they are making very solid and noticeable changes to the game and adding lots of features, content, and fluff and yes i think fluff is nice when applied liberally (like the lilipads they added to river crossing area they actually make the area look and feel a lot more fluid i really like them! >< )
once they add in act 3 and the pvp i will be back to that game and probably say goodbye to every other arpg forever except maybe Grim Dawn.
the awesome passive tree and the solid and diverse mechanics make the game so incredibly and infinetly open to creative and unique builds that its impossible for me not to love it

Poes action is really slow.

Graphics are muddy as hell.
And the dungeons are cramped and small. Forcing you to have a face tank champ late game in your party.

But some of the mechanics are really cool.

the gamplay is slower but its a lot more solid to me i feel like numbers and stats are much more significant in PoE than in TL2,
TL2 just stacks item mods sooooo high they it gets into the ridiculous just so people can see big numbers flying around their screen
and no you dont need any help in the game if you dont want it. i play a ranger and if im getting mobbed i just throw down a skele totem
and phase run back till they got the monsters focus them kill them all you can also use decoy totem or Temp Chains, or frost nova totem
or icewall i could go on......
i could go on and on.
TL2 is like playing an arcade game to me PoE is like playing D3 if D3 were a good game

I'll try it once it's in open beta but imo tl2 beats d3 right now.

Path of Exile is a fun game with very extensive skills, very cool events, great random affix/suffixed items with random sockets and links making no two players alike, and an incredible community but the gameplay is deathly slow, and I mean like holy shit slow. I mean the increase from level 1 to 80 isn't as significant as I'd like to see mostly because how the game is scaled so much, the monsters, character, and environments see very small changes and while the addition of maps seems to combat this it doesn't seem to be enough to make the game seem non repetitive. Path of Exile over all is extremely innovative and you feel as if the gamers actually have a say in what the game is and how it feels, like it was actually made for us and not for just profit.

Torchlight is very fast paced and although the game doesn't have the vast web of skills Path of Exile has it still manages to have enough combat/passive skills to create unique builds that stray away from being cookie and become more based on preference, also the game definitely has many more areas and bosses to farm increasing the replayability throughout the game . Unfortunately (and while other might disagree) and in my eyes I mean really really unfortunately the game was made to be open modded, which does in fact ruin the economy overall, making the game more co-op and single player based then any serious or competitive multiplayer experience.

The fact is Path of Exile is in beta, is slow, has no PvP (Yet), No trading system besides I drop mine and you drop yours system, and virtually the currency (Although interesting) is flawed. Torchlight is open modded, noncompetitive, economically screwed, and lets face it, the skill tree lacks in support.

Neither of these games will ever be what Diablo 2 was or what Diablo 3 could have been and to argue which is better would be only to argue the lesser flawed game and at this point that would take awhile.

I meant the gameplay is just VERY SLOW. and the development. UGGGHHH. I like the game too.

Agreed, PoE needs to flow better as a game.

Once the game is out officially i'm sure it'll have a lot more fast past aspects to it.
