Hi
I'm looking to buy this game and play an engineer :D
So 3 points into Focus and 2 points into vit?
What skills would be good? I haven't touched the game or know anything at all... so any info would be nice :)

Thanks!!

What kind of build we're you looking to play?

I have had a bunch of research and play with the game so far.

Currently I am thinking of even dropping 100% into focus.
And forgetting the vita all together.
Reason?

Because there are things such as 1.6k HP gems and that kind of thing.
They overshadow the need for vita.
But really the thing you have to do is farm for em.
Vita doesn't play a big role so much anymore when you put those things into mind.

I'm working on my guide.
So I'd keep you posted.

Vit helps your Armor though, which plays a huge role in the end game difficulties.

Well I'm not too picky I just want to play an Engineer so let's say THE MOST EFFICIENT!

I have a WW barb on diablo 3, so its boring, but gets the farming job done :) that's what i want to do FARM!

I see...
Well I would love to hear your insights.
Also I was reading something about...items require levels or strength/dex
If we're not putting stats into str/dex then are the low levels hard to get through because we cannot use good items? We are then relying on leveling? in order to use gear?

I literally have spent only 10 min looking at random Torch Light 2 related sites/guides/forums so please forgive my ignorance.

The only need for a focus build is pretty much magic damage. Which is your average burn, poison etc..

Not so much for an engineer though.
Essentially, if he doesn't have his shield up, he's good as dead anyway...

But I guess you're right, having more armor does make a bit of a difference.

Then again... you can just get higher level gear and socket it with defense stuff...

Not a zerker but i think i saw someone using quite the same build today in one of the lobbies i got into seemed to be doing quite well for him.

Can't wait to get three hammers per cast and each hit = like 12% charge bar increase.
3x cast so like ~120 mana and full charge
