i went shield build with dex/vit, i don't like it. im remaking a zerker though, trying caster build with mostly ice.
that storm hammer is a fun skill, it takes your charge bar to max in like 5 hits, you just need the mana to continue.


/also, a good tip is once you find the diamond sword... keep in in your shared stash. any character can get 55 focus to use it by level 10. And its ez mode with 400dps in act 1/2.

you dont absolutely need focus.. you have that passive

you only need enough to use all your cooldowns at once...the passive is for regen? so regardless you need XX amount of mana \ focus..not only does it help in that manner but it also increases your Execute % by a shit ton...so saying Focus is not needed is just plan out DUMB. read 1st then speak ty

I use no focus on my ravage/savage build, maybe some mana regen gems or something works well. But I don't pop 5 buffs at once. Find my build works great in maps where u can get the 200% dmg for 50% attk speed 50% cast speed buff. You can just run through everything and it dies.

Can do lvl 90+ map at lvl 61 with this build on normal.

and our builds are totally diffrent... i use Howl , frost breath , Wolfshade , haste and summon archers when need be but those first 4 get casted every single pull so focus works, and to add, focus is HUGE for my execute. im getting +32% off it ATM just in focus. and i have my passive for crit = life steal .so its a no brainer.........

Well thats the beauty of this game, but to say you absolutly need focus is wrong. Depends on build/playstyle. This is not d3.

re read my post...i never once said it was needed for anyone? i said ' it works for my build ' since my build is a crit \ life steal build.. and im going for a smiter type build so yeah....never said it was NEEDED, its a ++ for crit builds thats all.

My buddy is pure focus dual wand and ice dmg facerolls everything.

alright i came here to say the same thing. i rolled a melee zerker before i made this new one. Although I didn't use dual wands, I used the diamond sword minecraft thing from level 11 and on.

90% in focus. Storm hammer until Wolfpack. The DOT rush skill and DOT freeze skill can kill almost any group of monsters in about 5-8 seconds. A champion monster isn't hard with SHammer/Wolfpack.

The level 5 battle standard is glitched (mana recharge is 800 per second to the zerker using the skill) which means you can cast wolfpack infinitely and its just absurd the damage it does.

so ya those 5 skills make zerker insane.
