It was shitty and lacking. I dont think it is a valid excuse coming from the ''original d1 and d2 devs''.

I don't think it will last for so long and it's pretty obvious when you look at the facts. Everything the Diablo original dev. touched since Diablo 2 was major crap. Every dungeon crawlers after diablo 2 never lasted. Modding will certainly keep it busy for a time, but I think diablo 3 will come ahead because Blizzard will always support diablo 3 and they are gonna get it right someday.

Obviously it was lacking because of the reasons i said. As for it being shitty that's your opinion it still did pretty well. Tl2 is obviously a much better game. I consider d3 to be shitty and lacking and that had more dev time than tl and tl2 put together as well as a higher budget. Just comes down to opinions.

If you look at diablo 3 closely, it has a lot of depths. The skills, the effects, the backgrounds and map elements are very detailed. To be honest it's a very complete game considering it's a dungeon crawler without any PvP yet. People just bought diablo, rushed through the game and missed everything because that's what they were used to do in diablo 2 and they were left wondering what to do. I guess people forgot d2 had no end game either, farming shacos to farm shacos faster was the point of diablo 2. (PvP apart, and even there the PvP system was kind of weak.)

No I took my time through the game. I explored everything and hit every chest but it just got boring for me.

every class lvl'd without exploits. was not worthy of diablo title
