when i play and there are large groups on monsters thsi seems to happen all the fucking time and it makes me goddamn angry and frusterated

most recently i was in a phase portal the one with the 3 huge blob things that spawn 10000000 others
ill be clicking on EMPTY ground to move around and kite them and it will lock me onto targets for 1-2 seconds after ive taken my mouse off them and keep my in attack animations and sometiems gets me killed
this happens a lot and i dont fucking understand why it locks me into this all the time
makes me wanna punch babies

why cant i just blind my left click to that ? i dont use auto attack fucking stupid bullshit

I find that happening to me quite a bit.
Same thing to, with those Ooze guys.

Yeah, i actually mentioned it to a buddy of mine and he said the same thing.

Also using shift to attack rather then clicking on trash mobs is a lot better too.

For example I use a bouncing glaive on my left (replaced auto with spell). Whenever I want to use that, just hold shift and spam my left click. Or vice versa for your right click.

Helps me from locking onto trash and getting stuck. Also I noticed in this game with some spells it won't allow your character to move until your characters casting is completed.

I noticed i couldn't pick up item's though.

I can. Maybe a bug for youself?

I have a bug in my game that drives me absolutely crazy. When I first started playing all the items showed on my screen 24/7. One day out of nowhere I had to hit tab to see items. If I held alt then hit spacebar it would like the items showing until i entered a dungeon or new act.

I have quadripple checked the item display in settings. tried resetting hot keys to default. Prob just gonna re-install game tomorrow. Worried about shared files tho and loosing my chars. Might just start alt'n like the good ol d2 days.

That's a setting you have to tool with lol.
